As this question is becoming and more popular among our users, we decided to write an article to answer it. As you know, it is possible to set a domain name in .РФ zone as main name, register it and bind to our hosing service.  Let’s see how you can do it:

First of all you should convert your domain name to punycode to be able to add it to the CPanel, as the panel (as well as DNS-server and Apache) does not recognize cyrillic symbols. It can be done using special script, which is available here.

Download this script and run it. Enter the name of your domain (for example шнайдер-хост.рф) in opened box and press Convert to punycode.

Here is the result: xn----7sbmeswmolk4a2a.xn--p1ai.

xn ---- 7sbmeswmolk4a2a.xn--p1ai is the re-encoded name of our domain.

After that, you should just specify this name in Parked domains option in Cpanel and register name servers. The domain will be bound within 24 hours.
